We are delighted to offer again, for 2024, this much acclaimed tour which, takes us around the famous city of Liverpool but this time using a new hotel. With Liverpool’s unique, unrivalled music heritage, this holiday is certain to be nostalgic and memorable. In addition to the many fascinating visits we also include a guided tour of this vibrant city!

Aloft Liverpool Hotel - 4 Star

The super, 4 star Aloft Liverpool is a centrally situated, hip hotel housed in the iconic Grade II listed Royal Insurance Building which is steeped in history and modernity. Each of the stylish ensuite bedrooms is equipped with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. The hotel features a contemporary and stylish restaurant and a spacious and relaxing bar. A lift serves all floors.



Your Itinerary:



Day 1

From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach as we drive north to Liverpool. We arrive at the Aloft Liverpool Hotel, our home for the next four nights, where we have time to settle in before dinner.


Day 2

This morning we are joined by our local guide for a fascinating tour of the city, including places made famous by the Beatles, Titanic White Star Line headquarters, the Cathedrals and much more. Afterwards we enjoy free time to explore at leisure before returning to the hotel for dinner.


Day 3

Today we make the short journey into the historic city of Chester where we enjoy time at leisure. Explore the unique 2 story ‘Rows’ of shops which are well worth a look, visit the ancient Roman Walls or take a gentle stroll along the River Dee. We return to Liverpool with more time at leisure to explore this fascinating city before meeting again for dinner this evening.


Day 4

This morning our excursion takes us through the Mersey Tunnel to the Wirral. We then make the short journey to the always popular Port Sunlight Village, built by William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers and named after his famous Sunlight soap. This is a superb example of how life used to be. We round off the day with a ferry trip across the River Mersey and then return to the hotel for dinner.


Day 5

After breakfast we bid farewell to our hosts and begin our journey home. Arriving mid-afternoon we are greeted by our awaiting taxis after a delightful city break.
