Another fantastic new 5 day break featuring an excellent selection of inclusions, from a relaxing river cruise to a stunning stately home and garden with visits to Henley on Thames – home of the famous Regatta, Kingston upon Thames and Royal Windsor from our base in Chineham.

Your Accommodation:

The 4 star luxury hotel is ideally situated on the outskirts of Basingstoke. Facilities include an extensive Health & Leisure Club with an inviting spa and two indoor swimming pools. The hotel has 90 ensuite bedrooms all featuring a TV, hairdryer, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to all floors.

Your Itinerary:

From your front door to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to the Hampshire Court Hotel. We arrive at the 4 star hotel mid afternoon for a welcoming tea/coffee then time to relax before dinner.

For our first visit we head for the picturesque town of Kingston Upon Thames, with is delightful riverside setting. We spend some time here before heading to the splendid RHS Wisley Gardens. The site here is a place of beauty with its Wild Garden, Glasshouse, fruit fields, Aboretum and spectacular Floral Displays. After a good stay we return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Today we travel through the rolling Surrey countryside to the county town of Guildford, with its magnificent Cathedral and cobbled High Street; we spend time to explore the array of individual shops and to obtain lunch. From here we travel to Polesden Lacey – a fine country house with glorious views across the Surrey Hills and a glittering interior designed to impress Royalty the world over, with art from the Dutch Masters, Faberge along with the lovely gardens.

This morning we enjoy a short drive, taking in some of the beautiful Berkshire countryside as we head to Henley on Thames, famous for it’s annual Regatta. We have a little time to explore the town before boarding our boat for a 1 hour gentle river cruise along the Thames. Afterwards we head to Royal Windsor with so much to see and do. Later this afternoon we return to our hotel.

A leisurely breakfast before we depart our hotel for home making suitable stops along the way.
