Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Our door to door service takes you to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive north. We make use of the motorways to reach Harrogate and the Crowne Plaza Hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Day 2

Our day begins with a visit to Knaresborough. Steeped in history and cloaked in natural beauty, Knaresborough is a quintessential Yorkshire town. It is a treasure trove of ancient architecture, vibrant culture, and picturesque landscapes. From here we return to Harrogate for time at leisure, with its huge open spaces and broad tree lined boulevards, antique shops and shopping malls, elegant buildings, abundant greenery. Not forgetting, of course, the world famous ‘Betty’s Tearooms’. After plenty of time to explore, we return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast we set off on a full day tour around the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We head to Masham, then on towards Middleham, along Wensleydale and past Aysgarth to arrive in the magical little market town of Hawes. The town is home to the world famous Wensleydale Creamery where we will have time for lunch. We then head further south via the Ribblehead Viaduct, Horton in Ribblesdale to Settle and cross country back to our base in Harrogate.

Day 4

Today’s visit takes us to the historic and fascinating city of York. We take the day to explore this vibrant city, full of noteworthy attractions. Visit the National Railway museum or the Jorvik Centre, walk the City Walls or explore the little streets and alleyways of The Shambles in the centre. We return to our hotel late afternoon with time to relax before our final evening’s dinner.

Day 5

Departing after breakfast, we make for home with suitable stops made along the way. We arrive back in our home areas after a fantastic Yorkshire break.
