Your Itinerary:

Day 1

Our door to door services takes you to the waiting Club Class coach for the drive to Folkestone during which a light breakfast is served. Boarding the shuttle, a glass of fizz and snacks set the holiday mood On arrival in France we continue our drive south to arrive in Paris late afternoon. On arrival at the MS Seine Princess we are welcomed aboard by the crew, then plenty of time to settle into cabins before the Captains Welcome Cocktail Reception which is followed by dinner and a cruise through Paris at night. The city and Eiffel Tower seem even more beautiful when illuminated particularly from our vantage point on the Seine.

Day 2

This morning we enjoy breakfast on board whilst we cruise to Melun, enjoying the ever changing panorama along the Seine. After lunch on board, we travel by coach to the fabulous Fontainebleau Palace, an impressive Renaissance style chateau with 1500 rooms and beautiful gardens. We include entrance to Fontainebleu and plenty of time to explore. We head back to our ship to prepare for this evening’s dinner which is followed by entertainment.

Day 3

Breakfast and lunch on board whilst we cruise back to Paris. Relax and enjoy the ships facilities. Upon arrival back in France’s capital, we include a coach tour of the city. We will see many of the famous landmarks including The Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. Dinner this evening is followed by entertainment whilst we begin our cruise to Mantes la Jolie.

Day 4

Breakfast on board before we join the coach for our visit to the beautiful Monet’s Garden at Giverny, probably the most famous garden in France. Monet painted some of his most famous works whilst living at Giverny, including his water lily and Japanese bridge pieces. We enjoy time here before returning to our boat for lunch on board, then time to relax before whilst we cruise to Rouen with dinner and more entertainment this evening.

Day 5

Another breakfast on board before our guided tour of Rouen. Normandy’s vibrant, historic and cultural capital. Monet’s famous depictions of Rouen Cathedral have made this vast edifice many visitors’ favourite building in the city, but there are also many fine museums to explore, not to mention the Gros Horloge clock tower, France’s oldest inn ‘La Couronne’ and the beautiful modern church dedicated to Joan of Arc. Back to the Seine Princess for lunch and time to relax. This evening we enjoy a wonderful 4 course Gala Dinner on board, complete with entertainment.

Day 6

Overnight we have arrived in Honfleur. For those wishing to take part, we enjoy a walking tour of this pretty port and town. Colourful half-timbered houses jostle for position on the quays, along with art galleries and restaurants. Packed with things to see and do, it’s hardly surprising that Honfleur is one of the most popular places to visit in France. We return to the boat for lunch before setting out again along the ‘Cote Fleurie’. The Côte Fleurie runs from Honfleur to Deauville, with each beach, cliff, and seaside resort in between more charming than the other. This small corner of paradise has inspired many an artist in the past, and the regional Calvados brandy inspires us even today! On this excursion, we'll see Trouville and Deauville and visit a Calvados distillery.

Day 7

We enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking in Honfleur. We travel north to Abbeville and along the coast Calais for the afternoon shuttle train back to the UK. We return to our home area early evening after a truly memorable cruise.
